The immediate rule-based fallback uses indic-transliterator version 1.3.1, distributed under the Apache License 2.0. Nepal Tax Toolkit adds Nepali-specific dictionary and candidate-ranking behavior around the package.

CMU Pronouncing Dictionary
The optional local English-pronunciation path uses a reviewed baseline and the CMUdict dataset distributed by @stdlib/datasets-cmudict. The full dictionary is lazy-loaded in the browser and typed words are not sent to a pronunciation service.
